  2. Dr Chad Alves came to our house and helped us give a compassionate end to our elderly cat who was not well. It is always hard to put a pet down, but Dr Alves made a difficult situation better for all of us. We appreciate his compassion and sensitivity and highly recommend him to others.

  3. I can’t thank you enough for coming out on a Sunday evening and sending my Dakota peacefully to dog heaven.
He was so relaxed with you and the process was so peaceful and calm. He had a good life and a easy transition to the other side.

  4. Dr. Chad Alves came to our home in late April to assist with our dear old Phoebe kitty’s end of life. He was incredibly sensitive and professional, easing our way through such a painfully difficult time. I was touched by how gently he handled her, showing genuine respect to both her and her grieving human Mom…… I highly recommend, and so gratefully thank, this very compassionate veterinarian.

  5. Dr Chad Alves was so caring and loving when we put our dog Roper down. He was so amazing during such a painful time. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I have never cried more for any human or animal than this amazing dog. To have someone there who was so supportive and sensitive to this time was something that helped so much. We so appreciate you Dr. Chad and wanted to let you and everyone else know.

  7. We truly appreciate your caring and kind words during our very sad Time of letting our precious Chiquilina go the rainbow bridge. It was very comforting having you with us. God bless you.

  8. What a blessing! Chad relieved our beloved dog,”The Cub/ Cubby”, from pain so comfortably & smoothly. With your, (Chad’s), sensitivity & kind manner, I can’t imagine better dynamics in our situation. Weaken from bone cancer Cubby’s leg suddenly broke & her prognosis for any further quality of life was nil. Although I feel rather heartbroken, I appreciate your compassion and calmness you added to “The Cub’s” last moments of life. Our gratitude will live on for our lifetime!
    – My apologies for the urgent timing, yet grateful for your expedient response!

    Can’t THANK YOU enough : )

  9. Thank you, Dr. Alves, for your compassionate care of our 20-year old cat. Euthanizing him at home made the experience less painful for all of us. We’re grateful for your kindness and service. We never felt rushed or pressured. We will miss our cat dearly, but his passing in this manner was the best we could have hoped for.

  10. Thank you so much for the kindness and caring you showed in helping us say goodbye to Clicquot, our much loved cat companion for 15 years. We recently got a letter from UC Davis Veterinary Medicine letting us know that you had made a memorial donation to them in memory of Clicquot, which we really appreciate. You definitely helped us get through a very difficult and emotional time as comfortably and compassionately as possible.
With sincere appreciation for everything you did to help both Clicquot and us.
